More same old same old - complete redraw of coastline, consolidate boundary lines, add buildings, rename incorrect roads - this batch had particularly bad road geoms which I fixed

For the buildings in this changeset, what is the source?

Hey Elliott,
Building data is from the county of Anne Arundel (http://www.aacounty.org/county-maps/) released into the Public Domain. I also gave them a call just to confirm that the data had no restrictions.

Hey, firstly, welcome to the project! I think that it is great you found a way that some government data could improve the map. I have imported a substantial amount of data into the map as well.
There is a process for this however, where the import should be documented and where there is local community involvement. To chat further, why don't you join us on Slack to discuss? https://osmus-slack.herokuapp.com/ We'd love to hear from you!

Hey, yeah definitely new here! I actually have done a couple of pub nights with a few other OSM folks from Annapolis over the last couple of weeks and talked through a lot of it with them. Is there someplace where I should further document this? Unfortunately my internet situation is difficult as I live on my boat so chat apps are pretty much out as I can't connect to them reliably. Happy to talk via email though if that is more convenient.

Sure, so start by checking out this document http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Import . The procedures are in there. Before importing buildings, we usually discuss with a mailing list, and then have the data vetted by the larger community. In this case, there is an excessive number of nodes which add some complexity to the map that is usually unnecessary and may have some negative impacts on the system. You'll want to write up a wiki on the procedures used to clean the data, any translation and what not. Check out the docs and let me know if you need help getting started. Also, what OSM groups in Annapolis are there? I'm up in Baltimore and am always looking for other Maryland OSMers to network with.

Hey Elliott. Thanks for the link, I'm afraid I hadn't seen that :/. I'll get on adding a wikipage today and send you a link. I don't know if there is an official group in Annapolis, I was interested in using the data and noticed that almost nobody was doing serious work here just the odd edit, so I got a bunch of the odd editors together to get their opinion and get me started.

Alright, I'll check it out. Nice work on updating the coastline by the way. As a boater, I'm sure you can appreciate how janky it looks in places. Better coastline makes for better visuals on maps!

Hey Elliott,
Just created the import page here:
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Anne_Arundel_ImportsThanks! Yeah the coast definitely needs some work! Hoping to add nav markers and the like once I get buildings and addresses in

Even after 7 years, the garbage from this import is still everywhere.
You do not need more than 4 nodes to draw a rectangle.
