JUST GIVE THEM A CALL STUPIDO
Dear anonymous,
thank you for your comment! I find it very useful.
For your information, I don't live in Berlin, I don't speak German and English isn't my mother tongue.
You could help us instead of insult me, couldn't you?
This place is accepting BTC. See also: https://bitcoinhood.wordpress.com/
I think https://bitcoinhood.wordpress.com/ doesn't use a free license, so we can't use it as a data source.
Other problem: their website currently doesn't work. Can you report this issues to the owners? Thank you!
With "their website" I mean http://www.fabelhaftberlin.de/
I am the maintainer of the bitcoinkiez website (https://bitcoinhood.wordpress.com). We would love to share our data. What do you need?
The obvious problem with the data is that it's probably Google-derived. If the pins were placed against a Google map or from Google's geocoder then it's a derivative work of Google's data.
I think we should close all bitcoinhood.wordpress.com Bugs, if the geocoding is from google. This is not allowed in OSM!
Geocoding isn't from Google. See the first message, where you can find the source (Creative Commons-by).
Stemby, we're talking about where the coordinates in the source are from.
The maintainer should probably contact the legal-talk@ mailing list at http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/legal-talk
pnorman, yes. Me too.
In any case, we are talking about the coordinates of the notes. Data are inserted manually by using JOSM or other editors.
Where are the coordinates comming from? Can't find any information about in the link at the first message. There is only a google-map
You can find the coordinates into the source code linked at the first message.
Ah, sorry, you are right: the coordinates wasn't present for this bar.
I manually set the position for this note, by using the address (housenumber 6 probably is between 7a and 5)
Don't you think it's easier to add the Information by yourself instead to add here Nodes?
Usually I add data only when I can verify them. For example I don't know the exact location of this bar.
