Rendering of Muslim cemeteries

Jewish cemeteries have had their own rendering for quite some time, IIRC. This looks quite strange, from a worldwide point of view, considering how marginal Jews are in numbers (~20 million Jews vs. ~2.5 billion Christians, ~1 billion Muslims or ~0.5 billion Buddhists). I’m all for adding Buddhists or other important religions’ cemeteries, only I know next to nothing about those, or their symbology. I just added what I’m personally familiar with.

presented one of my fast-disappearing leaflets explaining OSM

Hello alexkemp,
in one of your diary entries you mention “leaflets explaining OSM” that you distribute to people. I wonder if you could send me the design. I’m trying to start an OSM community in Bosnia (where I lived for some time) and I could use anything and everything to spread the word and encourage more people to get involved. Given your level of your expertise (as can be seen in your diary entries), I’m thinking that translating your leaflets into Serbo-Croatian would be far more efficient than designing my own.
Best regards,

Michal

On behalf of all photographers, thank you so much for for spreading the awareness an standing up for yourself. I think the legal info should definitely be included in the Wiki (obviously, it’s going to vary by jurisdiction).

OSM im Auto

Hi, you might find this Reddit thread interesting.

A valuable find - free parking in Florence

Yes there is still signs saying to pay

There are no signs either. There’s literally nothing telling you (or even implying) that it’s a parking lot, other than its physical appearance and the fact that it’s being used as such.

A valuable find - free parking in Florence

While there is some kind of informality involved, it still was built as a parking so I’m not sure if the tag makes sense here

True, but the “informality” was exactly what I wanted the user to be aware of. There’s another car park right next to it, which looks virtually the same, only it has signs and parking metres (and it’s not guarded, so it’s not like you’re paying for some extra service). I would be quite surprised if the local authorities just let you choose whether to pay for parking or not. Basically, I wanted some sort of a “guarantees=no” tag.
