Hi, not exactly sure what your asking. But OpenSteetMap and google Maps are 2 completly different maps. Check out and you have the option at the top right corner of the map to choose OpenStreetMap or OpenCycleMap.

Unless your talking about Google MapMaker, where in some countries you can edit Google Maps. However, for the edits that are made with Google MapMaker, they become property of Google. Where as, with OpenStreetMap, when editing the map, it remains open for everyone to use ccBYsa.
