Change cycle path surface. It was made of railway ballast, which I probably added, it's been tarmac'd and smooth since the summer.

Change to service roads to match the road from which they are accessed, though whether that should be a service road rather than residential I'm not sure...

Update cycle permissions on these road segments (perhaps should be "designated" for bicycle as there is signage specifically indicating that this is a bike route in both directions.) Hopefully this will allow routing engines (e.g. Komoot) to use the way.

There is no gate here nor any signage indicating that one cannot use the lane - I rode down it quite happily
