This is not a passable public road north of this gate. The gate has posted signs to keep out.

Updated intersection to improve directions. Specifically so it won't say "right turn" when traveling east on Lakeshore and continuing eastbound after the bridge.

Construction has opened this up to two lanes again.

The construction along here allows two way travel now.

I'm not even sure this crossing qualifies as a "ford" You're not driving a vehicle across this section of the river. You could swim or cross with a boat. Only if there was a major drought and you had an off-road capable vehicle could you cross here.
