Updating your changeset source comment easily using imagery layers in JOSM
Posted by PlaneMad on 25 January 2016 in English.This handy feature in JOSM fetches the titles of visible imagery layers that you have loaded into JOSM and adds it as the changeset source.
Never knew it existed till someone pointed it out to me. Hope you find it useful.

You’re just not paying attention to this possibility before 👻

@andygol thats true ;)
Also JOSM used to add all my loaded layers before, even if it was invisible. This was patched recently to include only visible imagery layers.

Hi, PlaneMad,
Thank you, I work on this project, because I like it, I find it useful and I know a lot of “teams” have enough will for to “try” to change this world in the right “direction”… unfortunately, in the same time I know the “opposite”. Because we are human, we are capable to do a great things and in the same time, to much “bad things”… This is my point of view and I’m very sad to be an “human”. Yes, I like this project, I know you have a lot of purview and it’s the same for a lot of kind persons, I like to see the growth of improvement of this project and lot of softwares like Josm and those who have the same “spirit”.
Have a nice week on this planet where lot of peoples try to “improve”, however, it isn’t win, we have a huge work in front of us.

PlaneMad, I too never noticed that feature. I’m always amazed at the depth of JOSM. Thanks for posting, I’m a big fan of your posts.
