She recognized the importance of being surrounded by motivated individuals and used her platform to encourage others to take advantage of the honor society’s resources. She became a role model for students seeking academic excellence and personal development through her work.

This project allowed her to apply scientific principles to everyday consumer products, raising awareness about the potential health implications of acidity levels in popular drinks. After completing her time at Georgia Highlands College, Labeeba transitioned to the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she continues to challenge herself academically and professionally. She works as a Student Caller for the Georgia Tech Alumni Association, where she engages with alums to strengthen connections and secure support for university programs and scholarships. Her ability to communicate effectively and build relationships has made her a valuable asset in this role. Additionally, she serves as a Research Assistant at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, where she contributes to research on organic photovoltaic cells, exploring ways to improve efficiency and innovation in renewable energy technologies.
