In addition to teaching, Dr. Joseph Olzacki has over 25 years of expertise in administration and program management. He directed the performing arts, public relations, and curriculum at Bloomfield Public Schools in Bloomfield, Connecticut for almost a decade. To teach youngsters from disadvantaged groups about the Holocaust and other genocides, he started his infamous Identity Project Dr. Joseph Olzacki is the Director of the University of Hartford’s Rwandan Teacher Education Program. The Ministry of Education of Rwanda invited him to Rwanda.

This project has taught over 5000 Rwandan educators in English language learning, pedagogical techniques and peace initiatives. Dr. Joseph Olzacki helped pass the Holocaust and genocide education requirement for Connecticut high school students. His efforts resulted in the Holocaust and World Genocide Education Act.
