Days gone!

I have been trying to add a bus route, it’s been 2 days and after so many trials and errors and following wiki throughly, I’m making some sort of stupid mistake.. This time’s mistake is, that for some reason, a split way that is part of the bus route, now is both a relation of its own and a relation to the bus route.. Why even? Man, I’m tired.. Maybe I go ask someone to come and fix it..

Are you using iD or JOSM?

Josm.. Although I’m sure error of my work lies elsewhere..

You should go back and follow the sequence and re-correct it. All the correct segment is still there. When doing bus routes it (almost) always happen like that when a split way and non-split meets, and you use the sort function iirc.

Hi ImmaBeMe - I always thought that adding relations to OSM would be complicated, until I saw this video introduction on YouTube by Derrynaflan Trail on how to map public transport

Kucai, I didn’t do sort.. Because I knew it wouldn’t work in my case, I manually split road segments and placed stops (highway=bus_stop and public_transport=platform)… I got on the bus myself and checked coordinates, existence and if they match with official bus routes map of my city(where I live).. Both routes are added to one master route(as child relations).. It’s my first relation ever and it’s going to be the very first PTv2 in my city

MathiasMathias, I also going to look at the video, thanks for the advise
