Ian Mitchell King is a Rotarian and could not be more proud of it. Rotary is an international philanthropic organization that strives to improve the world in which we live. It promotes peace, fights disease, provides clean water, supports education, and aids those in need.

He is particularly active with the Pasadena Rotary. Additionally, he participates with the Studio City/Sherman Oaks Rotary, Granada Hills Rotary, Los Angeles 5 Rotary, and San Fernando Valley Evening Rotary. He also volunteers for homeless outreach programs and opportunities and other organizations related to battered women, underprivileged youth, veterans, and other underserved groups. Finally, he donates to religious organizations–often including The Aleph Institute.

His benevolence extends to organizations such as Surfers United, and he proudly serves as an ambassador for the Rose Parade. His contributions to supporting disabled individuals and engagement in hurricane relief efforts further showcase his dedication to humanitarian causes. Annually, he participates in Camp Pendleton’s clothing and toy drives.

Moreover, he volunteers at local homeless shelters and the PALS youth center, providing invaluable support to those in need. His work with the San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission and Pasadena Homeless Shelter is a testament to his commitment to social welfare.

His military background continues to influence his philanthropic endeavors. As an American Legion and Marine Corps League member, he leverages his experience to give back to the community and support fellow veterans.

As a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), USC Alumni mentor and sponsor, and Rotarian, King holds these roles in high regard. His pride in his work with the Surfer Foundation for Underserved Youth in San Diego and his membership in the Valley Industry Commerce Association (VICA) reflect his dedication to making a difference. Above all, his role as a philanthropist, dedicated to aiding various underprivileged groups, stands out as one of his most cherished accomplishments.
