I live in Tarrant, Alabama, not Birmingham. Fix your errors or be sued!!!

You’re welcome to fix them yourself.

If you have an issue with the map, fix it yourself. That’s how this works. If you’re not a contributor and want something done, you ask politely or add a note. Threatening lawsuits does nothing.

Not my error/s.
You want something for nothing? Ok, stop using OSM.
You want to use OSM and have it improved? Then start your improvements by fixing the error/s you observe.
You’ll simply attract abuse by threatening in a first approach, particularly in an organization where most people are giving their own time for free.

Congratulations, with signing up you are now a member of a very large community of contributors to OpenStreetMap! There were over three million people from all round the world who have done what you have just done.
Proceed with the Beginners’ guide to learn how you can easily edit (i.e. add information, provide corrections,…) the map.
If you are not yet sure how to properly correct information and want to report an error that needs to be fixed you can try out leaving a note at that position in the map.
Just please don’t communicate with the community in a way that looks like you’re a troll. See Etiquette and Community Code of Conduct.

When I search for Tarrant, Jefferson Country on Nominatim (http://nominatim.openstreetmap.org/details.php?place_id=157944963) I do not see Birmingham at all in the response.
Maybe we should sue you for passing false information ? :-) :-) :-)

Please, leave a note on the exact point of the error, soo we can find where we need to fix….

What reason for sueing someone could that possibly be?
And how lazy can someone be to detect something they could correct themselves and, instead, whine around?
