University of Queensland, Long Pocket Campus

Posted by Dante Jones on 30 June 2013 in English (English)

The University of Queensland has taken possession of an area of land that previously was used by the Queensland State Government as the Indooroopilly Sciences Centre.

UQ locks in occupancy on Indooroopilly bushland property

It located next to a property that previously belonged to the CSIRO, but now belongs to a private developer:

The maps for this area are very inaccurate, missing any basic detail, and given that it now includes a University campus I'd like to do a little bit of work improving the details of this area.

Location: Tennyson, Brisbane, Queensland, 4104, Australia

Hi Dante Jones

I'm happy to give a hand with this if you need it, as I work at UQ and I often contribute around there.

Let me know how you go.

Hi chtfn,

Some assistance would be great. I seem to have damaged some areas in my attempt to split UQ Long Pocket Campus from the former CSIRO. The St Lucia golf club seems to be impacted as well.

Also I have heaps of GPS plots as GPX files with timestamps on each point that are being rejected when I attempt to upload them as missing timestamps. Confusing.
