I’m Amanda McCann. I’m a mapper and programmer originally for Ireland, but now based in Germany. I work at Geofabrik. (pronouns: english: she (or they), deutsch: „sie“)
I was on the OpenStreetMap Foundation Board of Directors Dec. 2019→Dec. 2022. I write up what I do in OSM on my OSM Diary.
I’m on the Communication WG, and I have lots of OSM stickers which we’ll send you for free. I started & admin the En.OSM.Town Mastodon/Fediverse server for the OSM community (See what’s being posted there, who’s active, sign up here).
I’m taking part in the Irish Historic Mapping Project, and created a site to show a map of the irish townlands we’ve added

In case your wondering, my username is in Ogham, an Early Medieval alphabet used primarily to write the early Irish language, and then a rainbow flag. It’s interesting to see what OSM software doesn’t follow open standards, and cannot handle unicode correctly. 😈 I currently cannot log into the OSM forum, or OSM help site
This is what the letters mean: ᚛ᚐᚋᚐᚅᚇᚐ᚜
I changed my name in mid-2021, so you may have known me by an old name. 😉
