Thanks for the heads up, and I'm sorry about your inconvenience. I added a tag to that section of the path as a "seasonal_swamp". However it's important to note that this and other trails on Bastimentos Island are not standard hiking trails, (nor are they advertised as hiking trails) but access routes used by the locals through the jungles and swamps to go fishing and do other activities. Locals are very used to these conditions, always walking in rubber boots and always carrying a sharp machete in case they need to remove obstacles or clear a path around them; or plain and simple, avoiding these jungle routes altogether if the weather conditions make them impassable, which sounds like it's been the case in the last few months.
