Resolved note #4448341
Description
Bridleway ONLY. This is a private driveway. No motorised vehicle access.
No access to river along this track, it turns back inland on a loop.
*For access to the river and river wall footpath, use footpaths/bridleways which are signposted clearly near church.
Discussion
Correct, though not very nice of the landowner considering there is a track to the river path.
There is no track to the river path. The owners ran a fishing business and crossed their own field - the field owned by them, to get to the beach for their business. This business has relocated to another part of the UK. On either end of the access across their own land, was a sign that said Private Land. This land is still private and there is no ‘track’ or public right of way across it. It’s an arable field.
The mapped track just north of this note position is a public bridleway, Ramsholt BR 5.
The other track I referred to is 100m SE of here going S then W through woods to join Ramsholt FP 9 near the water.
Regarding your statement "This land is still private and there is no ‘track’ or public right of way across it. It’s an arable field." I cannot see which track or field you refer to, perhaps you could point out the positions?
If there is no problem with the mapping on OSM then please don't reactivate this note.
Regards Bernard.
