Description

The contours in this area (especially it is visible in CyclOSM layer) are brutally off, to say the least. The foot path is basically cutting through the contours (elevation difference around 600 m) even though the path as well as the neighboring houses are situated on a flat area (see the real imagery). The same issue is present also in a couple of other nearby regions in the same valley, but in this region it is manifest the most.

    I guess this isn't an issue with osm?
    Because generally we don't have elevation data inside.
    Elevation contours are normally taken from another source. All the paths here are aligned with the satellite imagery.
    But I agree, something is definitively wrong.

    That's data from the SRTM and we can't fix it from OSM. You need to contact NASA.
