I would agree that it should be done.
What needs doing, specifically in terms of tags?
Tyne and Wear Metro being given PZB tag.
That is not even slightly more specific. PZB is not a tag name and the metro is made up of thousands of points, ways and areas.
This sounds like a technical debate which would be appropriate for the Talk page of whatever tag you are interested in, it's not appropriate for a map note.
The signalling system is PZB is the signalling safety system used. It is appropriate for a map note because it is called PZB by Nexus. Which means that it should be tagged with PZB and it falls up the PZB tag.
PZB isn't a tag, do you mean "railway:pzb=yes"? Is there a source of this info other than Nexus? We can only use public domain sources
Hi,
OSM notes are public comments intended to improve the map. It's great that OpenRailwayMap consumes OSM data, and several mappers would be pleased to help with edits - however without (say) a link to ORM tag standards or what PZB is, this note isn't useful and needs to be closed.
More to the point for the pway, I understand the old Metro depot sheds are being demolished now that the new stabling is in place.
Happy Mapping,
James
Well, rather than complaining about the lack of a link to the key for signalling why not post the link to the signalling page. Also would not be a separate note for the depot since it is not really about the signalling system.
Well, why doesn't someone do something I haven't? :-)
Although I can spell pway and 12foot, S&T is not my specialism, but getting back to the map...
Searching for `PZB` gives Swedish Railways and...

Those look like unusual balaises.

The next question is which objects to tag - *every* way isn't viable.
There's no point asking questions, nobody is providing any answers. I'm going to close this note. If someone opens a note explaining exactly what objects they think should be tagged, and how the information can be verified from ground truth or non-copyright information, I might do it. Anything else is a waste of time.
