Hallo,
auf welcher Grundlage wurden meine Änderungen zurückgesetzt?

Personal preference. I'm quite familiar with all of these stations (I've been mapping them for years) and simple lines tend to work better for routing.

So you claim that just for the sake of better routing, it should be avoided to map platforms as area.
I think that is a bad opinion. I would even say it would be a mapping for the evaluator. -

Why would you map them as areas, if not for personal preference?

I would map the platforms as a surface, as it can be seen on the satellite images. It also illustrates the extent of the platform better.

Simple lines illustrates them just as well.

Some people apparently wants to map even narrow platforms as areas. Personally I thinks it's a silly bad idea.

However, do not allow conclusions about the width of the platform. Because it is just a dash in the landscape.
So your argument, it would be enough, shows me that you do not want to map objects more detailed. -

For all practical purposes, simple lines are enough.
Please note that we map footways and roads as simple lines, because that's the only realistic way we can have functional routing.
