Hello, if you are mapping forest roads in Slovakia, please use https://josm.openstreetmap.de/wiki/Maps/Slovakia#DMR5:hillshadeBWSR . Many roads are mapped based on this imagery, which is more accurate then basic gpx record. So please move tracks, back to their previous positions, because they were mapped well.

Thanks for the link. If I have access to the DMR imagery and can load into JOSM, then I'll recheck and fix geometries whenever needed.
One point to note. In many cases, there are 3-4 parallel tracks in OSM, only few meters from each other, while there is only one active one in reality. All the rest are abandoned and sometimes overgrown. Earlier, I didn't understand why those abandoned trails were mapped at all... Now, looking into DMR, becomes apparent that hard to distinguish the real existing tracks from longly abandoned overgrown ones... So, LiDAR imageries are not perfect: while the geometry is super accurate, the actual trail state (active or abandoned) cannot be accurately judged from that
Yes, we are trying to figure out this with DMP (digital surface model), but it's a bit harder.
These which are not passable after survey we are keeping in OSM, that they will be not mapped again by other user. But it's not possible to survey each road.
Ok, I understand, there are similar problems in other regions too when mapping based on imageries. I usually add "abandoned:" prefix to those tracks which are visible on the imagery but no longer exist on the ground. Then probably the best if I follow the same practice here rather than simply deleting the road.
Yes, I like your approach of this :)
