we have had a complaint about an import that you did a few months ago (https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/20946274). This import had the following issues:

• It was not discussed with the community beforehand, but such discussion is required according to our import guidelines http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Import/Guidelines
• In many cases the names that you imported were already there, leading to duplication
• All the nodes you imported were tagged place=city, even where they were clearly referring to places of lesser imporance

Therefore, I had to remove that import again. This does not mean that OpenStreetMap is not interested in your contributions in general, or the place name data that you have imported, but imports require diligence and care to get them right. If you are interested, you can join the “imports” mailing list (lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/imports) and discuss how to do a place name import properly.
