About Me

I’m an aerospace engineering student from India studying in Austria. I get lost very easily, and so I rely on my phone for navigation quite a lot! I usually try to improve the maps of the places I live in or I regularly visit. Because of my hectic student life, I do not get time to contribute on a regular basis, but I do what I can - every small bit helps, right?

I started contributing to OpenStreetMaps after I saw that my hometown of Trivandrum (India) was very poorly mapped by OSM. However, soon after I started mapping, I moved to Wiener Neustadt, Austria, and hence, I wasn’t able to improve OSM’s coverage of Trivandrum by a lot. Hence, most of my contributions to OSM are actually in Austria, where OSM already has very detailed maps (at least compared to India). I currently map mostly in and around Leoben, which is where I am currently staying.

I am still mostly a beginner for OSM, and so I make a lot of mistakes - but they are usually made in good faith. So if I do something wrong, please let me know.
