I have never heard about OSM until last week when Foursquare adopted its data as a source for their maps. My city, Campo Grande, the capital of a Brazilian state has - or at least had - little information available.

So now I'm doing the job of mapping the city, cause it's almost a million people living here and thousands of visitors walking around and it's a shame not to have maps on Foursquare.

A lot of new avenues have been opened in the last few months so there is no satellite imagery to rely on for those. I'm going to use GPS to map that. If anyone from my region is reading this know that I'm on it. All the recently built roads around the city's streams will be mapped in the following days.
