It's normal to wait more or less a week for cyclemap to render.
But make sure that you reload from the server and not from your cache.

If you are too impatient to see your edits you can go to the tiles@home server http://server.tah.openstreetmap.org/Browse/slippy/ and request it to render your changes, which should then become available under the Osmarender option on the main map.

Cycle routes are relations and they are not rendered on the tah map, so requesting a re render on tah will not help.

I am used to wait up till a week to see the cycle routes updated, and normally they are updated wednesday or thursday, but they have still not been updated tuesday the week after, but I will wait another week.

It just like kids and presents, it is had to wait ;-)

Hmm. This looks very much like a work in progress.
In these cases I use (id for your lcn 38):
http://osm.cdauth.de/route-manager/relation.php?id=164033&lang=en_GB
This is reading the API so very up to date.
