Just a small note here to announce that a group of approx. 40 contributors met in Paris last week-end, 7th-8th Octobre and founded the french association OpenStreetMap France (OSM-FR). The association will represent and promote OSM in France but all french speaking contributors around the world are welcome ! I hope that the organisation will be soon part of the OSM local chapters.
