Until today it was forgotten to map the electrode line of HVDC Pacific DC Intertie, the DC powerline from Sylmar, California to Celilo, Oregon, which is described on http://web.archive.org/web/20050426045806/http://www.transmission.bpa.gov/cigresc14/Compendium/PACIFIC.htm and which shares the towers of 220 kV powerlines. The overhead line section of the electrode line of HVDC Pacific DC Intertie starts at 34.0680586 N 118.4884808 W and is installed on the topmost crossbar, which usually carries the ground conductors of the powerlines http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/way/50003377 and http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/way/184911848 . In the next section one of the two conductors of electrode line of HVDC Pacific DC Intertie is installed instead of a ground conductor on the topmost crossbar of http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/way/76486851 the other on that of http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/way/31567169 . See therefore the picture http://static.panoramio.com/photos/original/47586927.jpg , the electrode lines of HVDC Pacific DC Intertie are the conductors mounted on small insulators on the topmost crossbar, while the ground conductor is fixed there directly.

- Mapping the remaining sections of the electrode line of HVDC Pacific DC Intertie, these are the sections in the switchyards, the underground section to the submarine electrode and the remaining way to Sylmar Converter Station
