I got interested in OpenStreetMap when I was looking for a business on a trip and I could only find it on OpenStreetMaps.

We have some new subdivisions in our city and this past weekend, I started to map them for the project. The roads were awful due to lots of snow and major thawing as well as what I think is a very poor design. One of the engineers I work with lives in the area and he agrees. :)

Tonight I put these traces up and started to enter the data into the map. I have a couple of areas to do that I will have to learn and use Merkaartor due to the complexity of them.

This project is one reason that I purchased a GPS.
