I’m attending my first State of the Map conference and really enjoying the discussions on community in OpenStreetMap, from the dynamics of discussion threads, to in-person meetups, to the type of editing people do. The term “power mapper” is often used to describe people who directly make edits to OpenStreetMap. I’m interested in a definition of “power mappers” that includes evangelizing, teaching, and engaging more people with OpenStreetMap.
