Self taught in many practices, I come from the school of hard knocks since all I've had with the college in town was nothing but terrible luck. I grew up with a pencil in hand and a yearning for information and exploration. This site and the likes of it have certainly rekindled the love for geography and unread history of the places that I wish to see. Like days of old when explorers would take to their ships I find this practice extremely romantic in part of wanting to explore on my own and bring new ways of travel to the communities I experience. Information is knowledge and knowledge is power and power should be used for peace and the spread of wisdom. I very much look forward to working and learning GIS and implementing my previous technical knowledge.
