Since so many of the bus stop show up on the wider views of the transport map, and therefore it can look very cluttered, I’ve been moving bus stop points onto the streets.

I’m hoping this will remove them from the wider zoom levels, especially 2 and 4.

I’ve also converted many of the stop names from “Linea 3 - 22 - 50” to their actual names that are listed by the buses.

IMHO, you should not move the bus stops because there is some map rendering that you do not like. This is what we call mapping for the renderer and should be avoided. The bus stop should be positioned where it is in reality, usually at the position of the sign (I think).

happy mapping

Thanks for the input! I absolutely agree and maybe should clarify that I’m not moving the stops’ locations, I’m removing and consolidating the pins for the bus stops. Taking them from independent pins to stop points pins on the roadways itself. That way, the rendering will show a red shading on top of connected stops instead of having the red ‘grouping’ shading stretch all the way across the map simply because someone named each stop “Linea 3 - 22 - 50” for a mile.
