what do you mean?
@Bored: All of my map notes are (always) based either on field observations or imagery (when I usually make the explicit note that it's based on imagery). Very rarely I add notes from "local knowledge" that someone has told (if reliable enough). I've tried to make sure that I keep at least to the average level of notes open/closed (about 3:2, try to be above that) and as you can see I also make edits around places where I make notes (while making notes). My usual work flow is working with OsmAnd. Anyone who's made serious effort in adding data in the field directly knows that it takes a "lot" of time, ie. clearly more than adding notes.
But yea, thanks for your nudge. I'll try to put more time (again) to also mapping the notes. This year has seen much less of it than before as our firstborn has taken (stayathome) daddy's time + connections in my current home in Nicaragua have sucked (severly) = bad combo. For mapping/ any web/computer related.
@Marion Barry: If your Q was to me: "1w e blk" means in my field jotting language Oneway East for the specific Block. In this the Dunno... part implies that I don't know how far the Oneway extends. If I don't know I don't want to guess (usually, unless there are other reason to do that). Changing even one block (at a time) to correct oneway is IMO better than nothing.
Ah thanks! I keep meaning to go check it out.
the reason i could justify leaving this open is the explanation of the shorthand in use which i encountered in several other notes.
i hope all those bug-reports are resolved, since i shall resolvethis as the rate of closed notes has fallen below half that opened, with the risk of iD soon adding a new generation of useless maps.me-like crap notes...
