Hi! Why are you changing the names of the basque villages? If you want to put the official name you should just add the tag "official_name" and let the basque name as it is. Please note that the Basque Country is a bilingual region. Please look at this:

Hi Vlad, can you explain what exactly is the problem ? Following your link a find "Default and local language name not the same" issues ... (Albeit, I don't understand why this should be an issue, since as far as I understand it, different tags are meant to reference different things...)
We have bilingual usage here in north basque country, as you enter all our villages you will find a bilingual (french - basque) signalisation. So I don't understand why we could not put both basque and french name in the "name=*" tag and have each language separated in their respective tag, i.e. "name:fr=*" and "name:eu=*" wich is what I did.
So just because Osmose don't like it, seems not a raisonnable argument for me.
