I've changed all telephone tags, which contains only a phone number and have no other phone tag to the contact:phone tag.

The telephone key will be used for infrastructure feature and not for contact information.

It was a semi-automatic change with JOSM.

I saw that, in addition to the mentioned change, also did change "website" into "contact:website" (note that contact:website is about ten times less used currently, see taginfo). At least this was an automatic retagging which should not be done without discussion *before* ( osm.wiki/Automated_Edits_code_of_conduct ). If we would want to do automatic retagging (forbidding the use), then we could use a script which also possibly corrects other minor problems but most importantly properly document it. Also see changeset/36400873 . So, sorry, please could you revert those edits by yourself?

The telephone change: with regards to http://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/telephone#values this change seems to be okay, I see no problem. Except that you please should try to better document what and how you've edited (your current comment "corrected key 'telephone'" can mean anything) and discuss the edit before (unless you manually review ever single edit).

This seems to be an undiscussed mechanical edit. Mechanical edits must be discussed and agreed in advance. This has not been discussed, so it must be reverted. Please revert this edit as soon as possible.
